    Time: 11:00 PM - 5:00 PM EDT
    Event Description:
The Michigan State University Museum/Great Lakes Quilt Center is home to over 500 quilts of unusually rich ethnic and artistic diversity. Recently the collection has been showcased in the book, Great Lakes, Great Quilts (C&T Publishing, 2001). Included in the publication were patterns to reproduce twelve quilts based on quilts in the Museum's collection. Eleven of the reproduction quilts created from these patterns are showcased in this exhibit. These reproduction quilts represent a variety of patterns produced from the nineteenth century to the 1980s, highlighting the breadth of the collection.
