Wolff is author of Grown Up Anger: Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and the Calumet Massacre of 1913, which was selected as a 2018 Michigan Notable Book. GROWN-UP ANGER weaves together biographies of Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie with a labor strike in northern Michigan to create an alternative history of 20th century America’s labor struggles and politics. Detroit-born musician Chris Buhalis joins Wolff in demonstrating the musical connections of Guthrie and Dylan. A prominent figure in Michigan's folk scene, Buhalis’s most recent album is Big Car Town, with songs about Michigan’s industrial past and his working class roots. I The program is hosted by Benzonia Public Library and Darcy Library of Beulah. Admission is free, and doors open at 6:30 with hospitality and book-signing following the presentation. The presentation takes place at the Mills Community House at 891 Michigan Ave (US-31) in Benzonia.
