Description
Join Michigan Legacy Art Park interpreter Caitlin Chism as she takes you on a tour of the fall foliage. You will learn why and how trees prepare for winter, as well as how to identify the more commonly found trees within the park.
WHEN TO ARRIVE
Tour begins promptly at 2:30 p.m. and takes about 1.5 hours.
WHAT TO EXPECTThe hike covers 2 miles of rustic hilly trails through our 30-acre forest preserve. You’ll see and learn about native wildflowers along the way and see scenic vistas and up to 50 works of art in the permanent collection and temporary exhibits.
PARKINGFree parking is available at the Art Park entrance with additional parking on Mountain Woods Drive, adjacent to the park or at any public Crystal Mountain lot.

Contemporary Art comes to life in the park’s permanent collection of almost 50 works, located in the midst of a 30-acre forest preserve. The Art Park hosts thousands of visitors and students each year, features miles of trails, world-class concerts outdoors, art and nature workshops, and extensive education programs. It is open every day of the year.
