Description
Carl Freeman will lead Benzie Audubon’s popular annual field trip to search for warblers and other migrating birds at Otter Creek in Sleeping Bear National Park. Carl is an expert in bird identification, both by sight and sound; you won’t need any birding experience to have a fun and educational walk. We will probably find other wildlife as well; fish, turtles and dragonflies are abundant along the creek this time of year. There is no charge, and all are welcome. We will meet Carl at the west end of Esch Road at 8:00am, and walk south on the road that runs along the creek. Esch Road is off M-22 south of Honor, MI. Bring your National Park pass. See www.benzieaudubon.org for more information.
