    • Meeting 3rd Monday every other month, 8:30am at the Chamber office
      January, March, May, July, September, November

    Tasks

    • Plan events for the community bringing our representatives here to address issues of importance to businesses and the community
    • Research legislative issues and recommend action to the board
    • When appropriate review local & regional policies and legislation
    • Participate with Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance Programs

     

  • Fundraising

    • Meeting 2nd Thursday of each month 9am at The Chamber office

    Tasks

    • Manage Annual Golf Outing
    • Manage & Create new and current events

     

  • Executive Board

    Committee is made up of the following officers but is not limited to;

    Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Immediate Past Chairman, President 

    Schedules

    • Second Wednesday of each month at 8:00am

    Tasks

    • Make necessary decisions regarding issues arising between board meetings
    • Set the agenda for board meetings
    • Review the current By-Laws and make recommendations to the board for revision
    • Assess the needed skill/represenatation on the board of Directors
    • Suggest candidates for board membership to the Board of Directors
    • Recommend a slate of officers to the board
    • Review and revise personnel policies
    • Evaluate the job performance of the President
    • Make recommendations to the board regarding the hiring or termination of the President
    • Address issues not covered by other committees and make recommendations to the board regarding the same.
