Description
Join us at the Pete’s Woods trailhead at Arcadia Dunes: The C.S. Mott Nature Preserve for our annual spring wildflower hike! Volunteer Paula Dreeszen will share her knowledge and passion for native plants in what is often said to be the most beautiful wildflower display on any of our nature preserves. The Basics: This is a 1.5-mile hike with gradual elevation change on packed trails. We will be making several stops to share specific wildflower information along the way. We love having experts to help point things out, but no prior experience in identifying plants is expected, just come prepared to learn! What should I bring? Dress for the weather! Spring can be variable, so think layers! Sturdy, close toed shoes that can handle some mud Consider bringing your binoculars or a camera Consider bringing a reusable water bottle and some snacks Thank you for your interest in our event!
